Sources and attribution
Prefer primary sources: current disclosure documents, regulators, official company materials, public records, and actual interviews. Attribute announcements and distinguish them from independently established facts. Dates describe when an event occurred and when the publication checked it.
Financial claims
Keep initial franchise fees, total initial investment, liquid capital, and net-worth requirements separate. Verify profile figures against the applicable FDD and its dates. Do not equate sales with profit or imply a return is guaranteed. Financial-performance representations require appropriate documentation and contextual review.
Independence
Paid visibility is labeled at the point of discovery and on the destination page. No invented reviews, star ratings, endorsements, rankings, or testimonials. Interviews require actual exchanges. Stock imagery is illustrative; pictured people are not identified as owners or interview subjects without evidence.
Corrections and updates
Send a URL, the specific concern, and supporting evidence through Corrections. Material changes should be dated. Unknown facts stay unknown until verified; stale financial data is excluded from budget filtering.
